Sounds very interesting. I think that a lot of colonial history is written from the perspective of the colonizers. As a Dutch person, that was certainly the perspective I learned about in school. That's why I loved reading the novels from Pramoedya Ananta Toer, who lived through these times and give the perspective from the colonized. I think it helps in creating a better understanding of history. And this seems to be a very interesting addition to that.
